What is pre-approval — and what happens to my design?

When you order, you can choose to enable "Pre-approval". We will then send your finished design by email before printing — you approve, and then we send it to production. If you disable it, we go directly to print once the design is ready.

When will I receive my poster?

We create your design quickly and keep you updated. Delivery time depends on size and destination, but you can expect your poster within a few business days. We will notify you when it has been shipped.

What is the poster made of?

We print on high-quality 200g matte paper — no glossy surface, no reflections. Colors and details look sharp and natural, just like a real art print.

Which image should I upload?

A clear, well-focused image gives the best result. A phone photo with good lighting where the face is clear is more than enough. The better the source material, the more detailed the poster will be.

Which size should I choose?

A4 (21×30 cm) is our most popular size and fits most standard frames. A3 (30×42 cm) provides more space for details and is suitable for hanging alone. A2 and A1 are perfect as statement pieces to hang alone.

Can I return my poster?

Why do I pay before I see the pre-approval?

Every poster is made uniquely for you from your own photo — we don't keep stock. Your payment confirms the order so we can start the personal design work. Pre-approval is a free service: you see the finished design by email and can ask for changes before we print. In other words, you're paying for the poster itself, not for seeing the approval.

How do you make my picture?

You upload your own photo when you order. We transform it into your chosen style with AI and refine it by hand — fixing flaws and optimising it so the result looks great. We then upscale the image, print it on 200 gsm matte paper (no glare) and ship it to your door.

Tip: a clear photo with good lighting and a visible face gives the best result.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Then we'll find a solution. We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, and if you chose pre-approval you can request changes before we print. If you're still not happy, we'll help with an adjustment, a replacement or a refund. Just email us at admin@mitmotiv.com.

What happens if I don't respond to the pre-approval?

No worries — we'll send you friendly reminders by email (and possibly SMS), and we won't print until we've heard from you. If we still don't hear back after a while, we'll print the design we've prepared so your order isn't delayed. You're always welcome to contact us if you'd like to change something.

What is your refund policy?

Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee: if something's wrong, we'll find a solution — an adjustment, a replacement or a refund. Because every poster is made personally for you, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal doesn't apply the same way as for off-the-shelf products.
